October 7, 2022 - The M11S runs on Android version 10, and we know that for the year 2022/2023 (currently), this version of Android has already been updated, however, I think that FiiO will not update the operating system for this DAP. We would all like to have a more up-to-date Android version, but I understand that being a customized Android, it would be difficult for the company to update the version and perhaps run risks of generating some incompatibilities, which could affect the operation of the product (in my opinion).

April 15, 2022 - Don’t look at me like that, you know how it is. But, there is a small drawback, as Lotoo player doesn’t support streaming services. It’s a deal-breaker for me (but if you want just a file player, it’s a killer DAP, get it). That’s when FiiO dropped the new M11.

However, FiiO promised that they do plan to release a M11 Plus with ESS Saber DAC chip in 2022.
