Hey people. Anyone with a fiio m6? I Audible app is asking me to update it but since we can't have Android PlayStore I've been unable to do it! Now I can't use the App!
Please tell me anyone know how to solve this. :(

I found an alternative way. Downloaded a custom firmware which allows me to add Google apps. Like Google Play and from there, I could install many apps. Even my payed audio apps (smart audio books, powerAmp, etc). This way unlocked the whole power of android.

I sideload any apps I want via ADB (Android device bridge). In short I download the APK to my pc, connect the USB cable, type "adb devices", then "adb install [apkname]" and that's it. You need to install ADB and save the APK in the same location. I have most apps disabled to speed up the M6, I use Antennapod for podcasts, Droidradio for radio and Poweramp for music. Unfortunately I can't help specifically with Audible but the install process is the same as for other apps. Just make sure you get it from a reputable site. You possibly could install the play store via opengapps but I don't recommend it due to the limited CPU power and battery life.

I'm looking at buying the Neutron Music Player app off the Google Playstore. I have Poweramp and USB Audio Player Pro but it takes them so long to index my 23k songs... it's become entirely problematic. I bought them but at this point I want to delete them and replace them with something that doesn't take 40 minutes to start working for me.
I'm using both M11 SD card slots. Both are 256gig cards. One has roughly 96% space used for music. The other is only filled with 13% music. So I'm thinking I'm not working with enough data, here, to stress out an app to the point it takes 40 minutes to index my files every time I turn it on.
Would anyone feel like sharing their/your app suggestions? And where I can download it/them? What do you like about your favorite, or most useful app?

I use Musicolet on my M6. I use the M6 optimized version by Fiio, available here . Neutron is there as well, although it's for the M6, not the M11. But if there's an M11 version, I'd use it over the Google Play store version. I've got about 30,000 tracks on my PC, but probably only about 5,000 on my M6 at the moment. Even so, there's no delay in starting it up. When I do index it (which I do manually, and only when I add stuff), even with 5,000 tracks, it takes under two minutes, worst case. I played with PowerAmp, Neutron, and a few others, but I honestly didn't hear that much of a difference between the output using Musicolet and the output from Neutron. I do hear a noticeable difference between the FLACs on the phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 and S8) and the M6, but I really didn't get much benefit out of PowerAmp and the like. I do find Musicolet's non-amp features (indexing, cross-referencing, etc.) to make for a better experience. I like being able to search by genre and composer, which few players do, and the dynamic queues (essentially tempory playlists that can be saved as playlists) to be extremely useful.

I'm trying to download an app onto my Fiio m6 and have downloaded the APK to my computer desktop, but I get an error message whenever I try to move the APK to the m6. The error says "Could not copy file."
Does anyone know why this is happening/how to fix it, or if there are other ways to download the app from the Google Play Store to my Fiio m6?
If not, is there a different Fiio device that has access to Google Play store and then I could download this app directly to the Fiio (via Google Play Store) without having an APK?
