November 23, 2016 - Make sure you have the latest firmware. Also do a reset and then go thru each of the X1's settings. Those IEMs are only 16-Ohm, so the X1 should be already driving them to their best.

With a smartphone, you need to get to more than 70% of the volume to at least get some needed impact. Otherwise, they’d sound lazy. Yes, lazy. Given their low impedance, you might think they’re easy to drive. They’re not. With a DAP like the Fiio X1, they could be.
