The only way to recovery the account is to use working recovery options already configured on the account. Obviously, you can't make changes to an account you can't access. With no working recovery options configured (e-mail, phone), it will probably be impossible to prove ownership of the account. Go to your google account (myaccount.google.com or something like that), go to "Security", and under "Signing in to other sites" select "Signing in with google." Edit: doesn't show accounts that just have your gmail address, only the ones you used the social sign-in button. More on reddit.com

Helllllp.
I made a gmail account for an Amazon/kindle account back in may of 2022. Kind of a throw away, just to buy books. I have not touched it since, the actual email account.
Over the last week, I downloaded the kindle app on my phone but couldn’t remember my password. So I went through all the steps, and went to log into said email, only to have it say ‘couldn’t find Google account’.
I have also tried to create an account with the same name, but am told ‘that username is taken. Try another.’
What on EARTH do I do?

I know the rules say "No ""I got hacked"" posts" and I dont try to encourange somebidy to do something I know all about the mail, I have proof of own but the only way to get in there is by confirming something on a phone i hard reset, so that doesnt work. Is there a way to trick google and let them send me a new way of verification or a legal way to "hack myself? if there is not then dont mind me and tell me straight up.

already tried to do so but they only told me they cant do anything unless I have the recovery codes. until that time I didnt know about the codea or where to get them so that is not an option

I play video games and I have a Ubisoft account that is linked to an old account that I don’t have access to because I was hacked. When I go to put in the email it says email not found. So I went to create one and put in the lost email and it says the email exists already. I’m lost and don’t know where to go from here on how to get the email back

When you get the message "Couldn't find your Google account" that means either: (1) you have the account name wrong, or (2) the account was deleted at some point and can no longer be recovered. Account names are never re-used. So if the account was closed/deleted you would get that it doesn't exist ("Couldn't find your Google account") AND can not be created (“That username is taken”).
