It won’t look the same, but I that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Dress 1 is A-line, but dresses 2 & 3 have tiered skirts, so they have added volume at each ruffle set—it’s a whole stack of rectangles—and that shape is important for the effect. Ruffles can also be A-line or flared, and that would have different effects. Sewing on crepe chiffon is unforgiving, so you would want to practice on some fabric that doesn’t matter first.
