Can customization include adding legs to the TV stand? I don’t plan to wall-mount it and want it to stand on the floor.
Yes, we can absolutely add legs to your custom TV stand. We offer both wood and metal leg options to match the style of the stand and your personal preference. Please note that we recommend a minimum depth of 12 inches to ensure the stand remains stable when placed on the floor.
How do I determine the height and depth of my custom TV stand?
For styles with door/ open shelf: to ensure that the inside space of your custom unit can accommodate your A/V receiver or other equipment well, please use the following formula to determine the minimum dimensions:
Overall Height = Inside Height + 1.26 inches
Overall Depth = Inside Depth + 0.7 inches
The width of the sections will be divided based on the overall width input for customization. We will provide more details on the production draft for your confirmation.
Do you customize cabinets shorter than 40 inches?
Yes, we do. For custom pieces with a width less than 40 inches, we typically build them as a single section instead of the default three-section design.
Since shorter widths may require specific adjustments, we recommend contacting us first before placing your order to confirm the details and ensure the best outcome.
Just completed this project, building a floating entertainment center to pair with our new Samsung Frame TV. All white oak. Started with 6/4 S4S for the frame and 4/4 S4S for the doors. Hung with a French cleat and lag bolts. I definitely need to invest in a jointer, and the bevels were a bit tricky with the boards being too big for my table saw, but it turned out pretty great. It was a fun challenge to try my hand at water-falling the grain for the first time.
Now I have to build a new mantle, as the existing one stands out like a sore thumb now.
Pretty much took me 3-4 weeks to complete this project in my new place. Lots of YouTube with some mistakes along the way. Custom mantel and custom floating shelves. Not perfect but still looks really nice to me. Really happy how it turned out.
