I made a French cleat for a floating tv stand I made, which may work. While mine is not as large as yours would be I think you could use the same idea. It’s plenty strong and if you lag bolt it into three studs I think it would hold up just fine. I made mine out of 3/4” plywood, and I suppose you could even have an upper and lower cleat if you wanted, but it might be tough getting it measured perfectly. More on reddit.com

I'm hoping to mount a 72" LACK shelf from IKEA and a 55" TV on a plaster wall. I've already ordered a stud finder, but in case the studs aren't centered on the wall, what should I be using to mount?

Something to keep in mind - sometimes stud finders aren’t super effective on plaster walls because the lath in the wall can confuse them. Basically lath is a bunch of thin wood strips running perpendicular to and over your studs, but under the plaster. So just be careful to ensure you’re actually fastening to studs.

Hi! I bought a tv unit but the company that sells it doesn't offer mounting. It's something like this. It's 150cm wide x 30cm height x 32cm deep.
I was thinking of using something like this (11x3.5x3.5cm) to mount it, but I'm not sure if they're enough. The tv unit isn't going to handle much weight, just the internet modem, hue bridge and stuff like that, tv's going on a wall mount.
I know a French cleat is the best way, but I've never worked with wood and since it isn't going to hold that much weight I thought I could maybe get away with just some brackets

Honestly if you are just trying to mount it flat to the wall then this is a very cheap way to do it. The hardest part is trying to make your cables look neat if you aren't running them inside the wall.
