Any recommendations on a relatively inexpensive tv stand for a 65" tv and a relatively large center speaker?
I just went through this and was further limited by not wanting doors, which almost all stands seem to have these days. I finally ended up finding a pretty decent one at, of all places, Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Better-Homes-and-Gardens-Mercer-3-in-1-Brown-TV-Stand-for-TVs-up-to-70/36062253 . It has a floating mount but I left that off and just sat the TV on the top shelf. Amazon also has a few open-shelf Bell’o stands that would work if you want glass shelves. More on reddit.com

October 7, 2017What would you do with this 65” TV and the stand? This is our family room, casual and informal. I want to wall-mount the TV and put something else under it - any ideas? Needs to hold gaming systems and board games. Open to better ideas for desk area too

IKEA Besta is a modular system that can be floor standing or floating. Lots of flexibility and pretty easy to put together.
