Has anyone tried the FLOLAB screen protect? I tried the official Samsung anti-reflective screen protector but it's now uncomfortable to swipe from any edge due to the film not being flush with the screen. Ordered the FLOLAB, hoping it's better than Samsung's screen protector.
So initial thoughts on the flolab are that yes, it does indeed have anti reflective properties. Not as much as the standard screen on the s24u, but noticeable.
My previous screen protector was the torras glass screen protector and the flolab is MUCH better at combating reflections. Using the torras, the reflections were just annoying, compared even to my s21 ultra withouth a screen protector.
However, the flolab has a black border all the way around the screen protector (which I knew before buying the protector) which also doesn't seem to be sitting flush on the left and right edges. When you are looking directly onto the screen it looks fine, but when you look at it from a certain angle, you can see the original screen behind the screen protector. So basically along the edge, there is a small space between the screen protector and the screen, and flolab are using the black border to try and hide it.
Pic 1 = flolab Screen protector on, picture taken from an angle which shows the phenomenon.
Pic 2 = seconds apart, angle slightly raised to show that when looking at it from a more normal angle you can't tell there is a gap.
Both photos are taken seconds apart, and both have the flolab sceen protector installed.
If I press on the edge of the screen protector, there is some flex and the screen starts lifting a little bit off the actual screen area. So this means the screen protector is not sitting flush against the entire screen.
Bit if a shame, but it's actually really good at being anti reflective, and feels smooth with no issues on screen protector. Not sure whether to raise the fact screen protector is not flush.
Just installed flolab antireflective glass screen protector.Overall very pleased with this protector. I would say the antireflective properties are about 75% of the OG glass. Install was straight forward and it works well with cases as I have a UAG metropolis LT case on in the pics. Sorry for the subpar pics..they were taken with a Galaxy s9! I did have to redo my fingerprints.it was hit and miss after install but once I registered new prints and increased touch sensitivity I have had no issues
