We’re ripping out this tub and replacing it with a shower. We’ve picked and committed to a dark green tile we love for the shower walls and ceiling, but are undecided on the floor. We’ve narrowed our selection to a couple different dark grays and a black (pic 2). Grout will most certainly be dark for the whole shower.

The rest of the bathroom has a black and white color scheme already, and the shower hardware will be matte black.

If we went with one of the grays, will it clash with the black and white everywhere else? It’s difficult to tell for sure if it will just by looking at the samples. Conversely, could using the black tile look too similar to the room floor and take away from what could otherwise be a standout piece in the (very small) room? Is there another better option im completely overlooking? We want to be bold, but not if it creates design/color discord.

The tile combo looked better in my head but seeing it together in person in the shower now I can’t tell if I love it or not. What are your thoughts?
