August 15, 2024I'm shopping for a compact and lightweight chair
Most of these cheap folding camp chairs are identical, and it doesn't really matter which one you get. That said, if you're a taller person, they're fairly small and prone to being uncomfortable on your back due to how short the back of the chair is; I'm about 6 foot and they end well below my shoulder blades. Tusk makes a larger one that comes up much higher in the back and, at least for me, is way more comfortable. That said, I almost never bring it; just not worth the weight/bulk. Usually a campground will have picnic tables, a convenient tree to lean against, or something. If not, I don't really mind sitting on the ground. More on reddit.com
