Just download forge online ( in the correct version ), doubleclick to run it. Then, under %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft there should be a folder called "mods", if not make it ( like its written down but without "" ). Any mods you download need to go into that folder. (Forge 1.20.1) Looking for Mod Recommendations

can be fabric mods since I'm using Sinytra Quick heads up: A ton of mods just straight up don't work with it, so be aware of that. Also, please, for the love of god, put each mod in your list on its own line. This is horrible to read, I genuinely don't know where some mods end and the next begins. (Also, I'd recommend Create and/or GregTech, but I'd pretty much say that regardless of what's in the pack already, up to you to figure out if that fits the vibe.) More on reddit.com

So I started getting into Minecraft mode and I want to try it out for myself but I don’t know how to. No online video or tutorial has helped me. So how do I do it?

First you open the version of Minecraft you want to play with, and then close it. next you go to the official forge website and download the version of forge you want. Then you go to your .Minecraft folder and make a new folder called "mods" exactly. Then you download the mods you want and you must make sure it fits the version you're playing. Then you want to put the mods in the folder you just made. Then you open the Minecraft launcher, make a new profile and make the version of forge you want, then open and enjoy

Trying to expand my modpack for me and friends further.

What are some Forge mods, that are not too outdated, that are really great and everyone should know?

Some i find amazing: Chisels & Bits, BoP, Dynamic Trees, Minecraft Transit Railway, Quark

I have a lot more included of course. But what are some that you really recommend? Genre doesnt matter, but i dont really like tech stuff thats too insane with printing materials.

Jeez there's so many though.. excluding tech mods, a few I particularly love: Astral Sorcery Thaumcraft Botania Alex's mobs + caves The Betweenlands Terralith Oh the Biomes you'll go Create (tech but most recipes are easy and it's mostly not difficult to get into) I could go on and on..
