Hi-what the title says. I called the number at the back of my credit card (international number, verified I typed it in correctly). They said that I called during their promotional hour, and that they cannot guarantee that the offer will be available if I call back later. The only thing that stood out to me: Quiet background, person asked how I was doing, the person also had a quite long hello, hello? when I went silent to end the call softly.

I think the only info I gave was my email address-they then wanted my physical address to send me a 'walmart gift card package.' Is this a scam anyone else has encountered?

UPDATE: it turns out I mistyped the phone number: I combined half of the international number with half of the domestic number on the card, and it resulted in a scammer on the other line...
