Videos
I take a lot of notes from YouTube videos (mostly class lectures and other videos I have to watch for class) but sometimes the person talks to fast and I can't get good notes. I recently started using Coral AI to summarize videos and take notes, and itโs been super helpful.
You just paste the video link, and it gives you perfect notes with the main ideas. Itโs especially useful for technical or dense material. I still refine my notes afterward, but this saves a ton of time.
Curious if anyone else uses AI for note-taking like this? Would love to hear what tools/methods you use!
The ones I tried (and everyone should):
getrecall.ai (This got my 1st place)
https://getliner.com/en (That's gonna be on my 2nd spot. It's a really shot summary, short enough to know what did they talk about but not long enough to know what did they say. It was still accurate tho)
https://clipnote.ai/ (there was an obvious mistake in the summary. I would still give it the 3rd place for being comprehensive)
https://www.summarize.tech (summarizes in a whole text, not really beautiful and not comprehensive)
https://www.wordtune.com/ (basically wrote the subtitles down but with time stamps, was not always like this)
Most of them have reasonable free plans and other paid plans.
The one I really found to be useful and accurate was Getrecall. I believe you can summarize as much as you want, but to use it to create learning cards (just like Anki) you'll have to go to the paid plan. It might be too comprehensive for you.
Please share any other websites you tried and found good or bad, also feel free to correct my stances on the websites above.
Edit1: apparently I was wrong about Getrecall. You only get 5 summaries, after that you'll have to pay.
Edit 2: So it seems if 10 users signed up with my referral link and confirmed their email, I'll get a free account :D Just in case you wanted to help a random redditor.
