Looking for free sources to learn API testing.

Go to azure devops, create an account, create a free project. Create some work items, epics / features / bugs etc. Create a dashboard. From there, go to azure's docs web page and look at their API calls. Use postman which is free. Play with Creating work items with postman, deleting, changing etc. You can download powerbi desktop which is also free and you can pull the dashboard analytics and setup some dashboards etc. All in all, that should get you enough experience to at least speak intelligently. API testing is one of those scary sounding things that's actually stupid easy, you mainly just have to find the API's you wanna test or work with and then execute specific tests like above.
