Github Pages: what kinds of static site am I allowed to host?

a) host my personal blog which isn't about web development but which I use to practice my dev skills. I make no money from this site. Sure. Many people do that, myself included. b) host a hobby site which I am building for a friend (unpaid). No money will be made here. This depends on what kind of website it'll be. From what I understand, it should be fine as long as you're not using the site to promote a business. c) host a small business site which I am building for a friend (paid). It's a classic 5 page static with no transactions taking place. I imagine this wouldn't be allowed. d) host multiple small business sites which I am getting paid to build and paid to host. If C isn't allowed, then this wouldn't be allowed either. Also charging people for hosting even though GitHub pages is free sounds like fraud. Honestly I don't think anyone here will be able to give you a proper answer. You should consider just asking Github . More on reddit.com
