Iโve heard from many people that they cannot download YouTube videos as MP3 without getting viruses on their devices. Most converters show popup ads that cause viruses to enter their devices. So, I found an ad-free, safe, easy-to-use converter with more features than other available converters.
I am using CnvMP3, a Youtube to MP3 converter, which is safe to use and does not have ads. They cover server costs through coffee donations.
The youtube videos are going to be downloaded directly to your device with the highest quality.
Give it a try, and i hope you will love it!

Windows 10.
-
As I mentioned it should be free (or semi-free with only truly unneded options locked behind payment)
-
Capable of operating with large files (300-500 mb)
-
Should at least support m4a and opus.
Quick google search returns variety of options but they are all some sort of scamshare cooked sites that won't work with large files and hinder you at every step unless you pay.
Edit. Thanks guys! Didn't expected so many suggestions.
Summary:
-
FFmpeg (not actual software, command line)
-
fre:ac - did the job well. Will use this tool in the future.
-
foobar
-
Goldwave
-
Efficient WMA MP3 Converter (might not support opus)
-
Musicbee (?)

M4a to Mp3. What is the quickest way where there is no limit? And any I can download/buy for offline use?
Sup y'all.
So i got a whole lotta WAV files of off soundcloud (so much free juicy music out there) and i'd like to convert it to mp3s.
What do you guys use for such. Preferably something that can do many files at a time.
Later Edit. Thank you all for the answers! I'll give them a go.
To y'all thinking it's youtube downloads etc: LOL. you guys should explore soundcould some more. many downloads i got straight from there are wav files provided straight on artist's page. it's just been a long while since i've seen a wav file and want to convert them for tag's sake.
Cheers
Iโve been trying out different MP3 converters lately, but most of them seem to either lower the sound quality, cut off parts of the track, or flood you with ads and pop-ups. Some even change the metadata or make the files way larger than they should be.
Iโm looking for a reliable MP3 converter (free or paid) that:
Keeps the audio quality as close to the original as possible (ideally 320kbps).
Works well with both short songs and long playlists.
Doesnโt spam ads or require sketchy downloads.
Is simple to use without too many steps.
So far, Iโve tried a few online ones and some desktop apps, but nothing feels consistent. Iโm curious what you all use and recommend. Do you stick with online tools, or is desktop software still the way to go?
Hello everyone. I have a gig in a few weeks and I want to have all my tracks in a certain file format (mp3 320 in this case). I have WAV and FLAC files that I'd like to convert to mp3, without any extra quality loss.
I'm looking forward for some recommendations!

AIMP player has Audio Converter, free, many options, formats...
For example, you can shut down PC after conversion.
Audacity.
Tools > Macros... > mp3 Conversion > Apply Macro to > Files...
Convert one track first to set up the mp3 quality.
File > Import > Audio... > choose your track.
File > Export > Export as mp3.
I get best results with:
Bit Rate Mode - Variable Quality - 220-260 kbps (it will go higher than 260 if needed)
Variable Speed - Fast
Channel Mode - Stereo
SOLVED I ended up using VLC to convert to mp4. Then uploaded to my phone and am using smart audiobook player! I'd like to get a dedicated mp3 player at some point but this will have to do!
I have a bunch of M4b files that I would like to put on a mp3 player but every converter I've found online costs money or only gives you "five free upload minutes" or something like that.
I made CnvMP3 a YouTube to MP3 converter that is web-based, ad-free and safe to use. You can download YouTube videos easily from your browser.
Most converters are full of ads and some don't even download your videos correctly, that's why I decided to create this tool.
It is completely free to use and I use donations to cover the server costs. I have amazing community that keeps the project running.
Here is the link if you want to test it out: https://cnvmp3.com/
The sites I used to use, like Cobalt, have stopped working altogether after Youtube's recent changes. Most of the other YouTube to MP3 converters I've found are either packed with ads or potential malware. I'm just looking for a safe, reliable, ad-free option that still works. Any recommendations?
Is there actually a free audio converter for Windows 10? There are tons that say free but are limited or not actually free.
Trying to convert the wavs to mp3s so they show up on local files in Spotify but the album is too long for all the converter websites I've tried.. Thanks.

Tried okmusi multiple times and it won't work for me. I dont know any other. I'm on iPhone.
I want to download an audiobook from SoundCloud but I can't find a good converter. I'm looking for a website that doesn't just have a 'download' button but just the MP3 link. (It's BC I'm using a glitch to access Google, I have parental control and doesn't have Google normally) Is it possible or am I doomed ? Also sorry if my English is bad, I'm french and still learning
I have a lot of songs on YouTube that I wanna convert to mp3 files but I don't know what ones are safe and what ones will give me a virus or something. Any help would be appreciated.
I downloaded a few onto a school computer to check em out, but lo and behold they are just crammed full of adwares. Are there any legit converters or some kind of audio program out there?
Looking for a free software to convert a video file to audio. Has to be able to convert the whole file without adding advertisements.
edit: thank you all for feedback. Ended up going with Shutter Encode. Which from what I understands uses FFmpeg, but has a UI so no need for commands. Can recommend :)
