Idk if this is technically the right place to ask but I recently came across an old mp3 player and I was wondering if anyone knew if any of the old music download websites were still up? I can't seem to remember which ones I used when I was younger and I don't know how I'd go about finding one
Alot of the time they have like 20 ads for 1 song download or they are really expensive, i tried to download songs with premium but spotify doesnt actually let you download them and i have no free youtube premium left. I also dont want to risk a virus or something.
Tried to access the website to download a few songs, was greete with the message pasted at the bottom of this thread.
This was my favourite website to date, was able to get almost every song I wanted in the highest qualities and with all the tags attached too.
With this said, anyone aware of any other websites that function the same? (Yes I'm aware of Soulseek however, community's not the best, and with FMD I was able to get gatekept songs on the day of official release).

All the ones i used to know have si maby pop up ads that they are unusuable and i want to change my alarm
Just for some context, i come from youtube music since it has my full playlist, and is generally on the cheaper side in my country, and i don't know alot about music services and all of that, so that is why i turned to this community. I am trying to find a place to download music from (paid or free), and no not the being able to play offline type of download, no like downloading it as a file and having the ability to move it from let's say my phone to an mp3 player, and i don't want the crappy quality downloads of youtube to mp3 converters. i want flac quality, or highest quality atleast. Leave any suggestions for amateur me.
Hii! New to mixing and enjoying the process so much. I'm looking for places where I can download songs from that have really good quality!! If anyone has any leads please let me know. The place should also have all songs hehe
The ones I downloaded were from a random site and when I play them in rekordbox the sound is very distorted and the playback is fucked. Help a girl out, thanks!
Guys Hi.
After hearing a sad news of freemp3download shutting it's server forever, obviously we need to anyhow find alternative offering high quality music.
I really want to be able to afford, buy tracks and support producers but I really can't, sometimes I buy but sometimes I had to rip it.
There is a bot in Telegram called joeymusicbot , you can change settings to .flac and download for free, thanks to creator
P.S if somebody can check if bot's tracks are pure .flac and not boosted mp3, would appreciate it a lot
Bought my daughter an mp3 player because shes not old enough to have a phone. she likes kpop and other weirdness. i can rip songs individually from YT music, but thats exhausting.
Hey guys I have a quick question, I'm trying to download some music on my PSP 3000 but I don't know what site to use, do you guys know any safe ones out there?
After free-mp3-download went down, I was looking for alternatives and searched through posts and comments to find some. There's a bot on Telegram that allows you to download music for free in .flac format by adjusting the settings, but I wanted to find something easy to use and with a similar experience as free mp3 download.
mp3-daddy .com - pretty much a copy of the old free-mp3-download website with a few additional features like cover arts being added automatically and being able to download songs in either flac, mp3 320 or wav. Track selection seems to be the exact same as well. By far the best alternative so far.
spotifydown .com- similar, but no search and you have to link a spotify URL to be able to download tracks.
doubledouble .top- similar to spotifydown, loading quite slow sometimes
edmboost .org - tracks in good quality, but selection is quite limited. Slow loading at peak times.
2024.myfreemp3juices .cc- similar to mp3daddy. Search feature, but tracks only up to 320 mp3. No flacs and wav available.
Let me know if you found any other alternatives and I can add them to the list. Hope this helps.
I've recently started to burn CDs for my stereo. To get the files I use VLC media player and I download the song from YouTube, but it requires a lot of steps and I have to do it manually for every video. Is there a more efficient way I don't know about? Especially for downloading an entire Album, I know there are entire albums on yt but they are a single long file so I can't select the track from my stereo
Hey guys, I was just browsing the site a few minutes ago when all of a sudden the site would not let me load in anymore. Now it's only displaying this message. RIP to free-mp3-download I guess...? Any good alternatives? It was the best one I've found in a long time.
The message:
" Dear Visitors,

An older friend asked me to download music for her mp3 player. I use music apps, but my friend's a bit old-school, and I have no idea where to download music without a high risk of viruses.
Help!
Just tried to access the website and could not connect (this site can't be reached); I use it very often and never had anything like that happen before.
Does anyone know what's going on?
Can't have nothing good
Hey all, new to the sub. I'm sure this has been asked millions of times, so sorry for being such a noob at this, but what do you think is the best music download or streaming service? Currently I use a youtube to MP3 converter but that takes really long because I have to download the songs one by one. I don't know services like spotify that well, just heard of them, but I'm willing to pay a subscription so long as the service can find all my obscure songs. What's youtube music like seeing as all the music I've ever wanted has been in a youtube video somewhere? Thanks!
I usually use YouTube links and convert them to mp3 but I was wondering If there is an easier way to listen music without wi-fi, a place to download songs and albums
