i’ve already got iMovie ver 9.0.0 but that’s really only good for my analog cameras. I’m talking abt software for my canon digital camera. The thing with my mac is i cant download the latest version of imovie and Filmora uses watermarks so i’m looking for a better alternative
Hi guys,
Anyone have any idea about a basic video editor that I can use without having to leave a watermark?
I’ve tried clipify, but the free version leaves a watermark.
Videos
FFMPEG and davinci resolve are perfect, Thanks
I have been looking for one but most are too hard to use or paid.
Also sorry if many people asked it already i just want fresh answers
I'm looking for a short-form video editor that is free without a watermark.
I used to use capcut but they recently added a watermark in the corner of every video and capcut pro is way overpriced.
I'm a small business and make instagram reels about twice a month.
I've tried microsoft clipchamp, splice, even canva, but these don't have the same quality of features as capcut does. I'm particularly needing great title/text options with different styles and transitions.
Is there an editor out there that is good but free, and doesn't have watermarks?
I've been using canva for smaller posts but it won't load barely at all for posts longer than a few minutes
I want a video editing software that can do the same thing the free version of Wondershare Filmora can do but without a big watermark that takes up half the screen. I don't care for extra fancy features because I just want a video editing software that lets me create 60 second memes and other things to share in subreddits. In other words, I'm not trying to become a youtuber who edits for hours, just want to make short videos and not have to pay $80 a year to do so
although watermarks arent preferable, as long as they are in the corner and not taking up half the screen in the middle it'll be fine
I've tried using DaVinci but it refuses to let me install it. Any alternatives?
Took a screen recording demoing some software operations. All I want to do is trim its length, crop it, then export at a smaller size. Can't believe how hard this has been proving to be!
Hey everyone,
After looking around online for a free video editor, I started getting frustrated with the options out there. After working on a video for a while, I would click the export button only to be hit by one of the following options (ordered from most to least aggravating)
-
Pay a monthly subscription to export your video 🤬
-
Export with a watermark 😠
-
Export at a low resolution
So I decided to build a video editor by myself and it's been one hell of journey, but today I'm excited to show you guys Mastershot. It's a completely browser-based video editor. This means that everything (including the rendering) happens in your browser! It's 100% free with no watermarks and up to 1080p export. Here's a list of some of the things you can do with it:
-
Trim video/audio/images
-
Extract audio from video to separate track
-
Add text to video/images
-
Overlay videos on top of each other (picture in picture/grid/rows)
Coming Soon
-
Integrations for stock images/videos.
-
Chroma Keying (Green screen)
-
Transitions between clips
-
Keyframe animations
Check it out at https://mastershot.app
The tech stack used for this project is as follows:
Frontend - VanillaJS with WebGL for the preview screen.
Renderer - Webassembly port of ffmpeg + canvas renderer for future (WebGL shaders, transitions, etc)
What do you guys think?
EDIT: Since people have suggested adding a donation page, here it is: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/mastershot
Hello everyone, I'm a student and if it isn't obvious from the fact that I'm a student, I'm broke. I don't have any money to purchase any cool editing softwares like filmora. I just want a video editor than can help me edit school projects and has above-average editing features. Right now I use canva education, but it literally drives me insane. The download speed is something that has already made me break down 6 times a week now. Really open to any advice here. Thank you!
Looking for a simple video editor
Key requirements: No watermark but more than happy for ads Would like something where I can take screenshots from a video and save them as jpeg / PNG etc Minimum must be 1920 x 1080p 30 fps Want to be able to zoom in / crop Trim would also be helpful but not fully required
If you can also recommend different aps that only have one of the features above I would be happy using multiple apps.
Thank you
Im look for a completely free video editor. DoEs anyone know of any programs? im just doing basic video editing that's why i dont need something with a paid version. I would also perfer if it doesn't leave a watermark..
Someone please answers. I need to get a new editing software that's free and easy to use. The one I'm using now has a huge watermark across my video and it sucks for me and the people who are watching. If anyone have any editing software recommendations, please comment so me and others can use them please?
Im not asking for much, as long as it can keep the original quality of the video (1080p) and has no watermark, I'm fine with whatever. I just kind of accidentally downloaded a two hour video wrong and now that video is split into nearly a thousand 9 second clips in my camera roll. As long as I can connect the videos together, and it can keep quality, no watermark, I'm good. Thanks in advance!
I need video editing app that doesn't have watermark and have friendly interface.
I don't wanna spend unnecessary amount of money on adobe premiere pro since its just a cash grab. Is there any editor thats like it or if not any editor recommendation would be awesome. I wanted to see if there is any editor that can have a corykenshin type of vibe or berleezy type of vibe to editing but i don't know what software has it and most softwares be having watermarks to them (wondershare flimora). But yeah any suggestion would be cool.
Before you say it, no, I'm not using Capcut, it has been worse and worse over the years. I have also been searching for a while for one of these apps but couldn't find one. Maybe you could tell me one that I could use. I think something like DaVinci is alright, but maybe not too complicated, but if it comes to it, I might use a complicated one
I usually edit and record my videos onto my phone (Capcut). I want to eventually start using my laptop because it's there so why not? Plus editing isn't really hard to do. I believe I would perform better and upload more quickly if I use my laptop beside my phone.
at the moment I have download wondershare Filmora, looks pretty good for now but it has a watermark I have to paid to remove and hmm... maybe once I have the money I can but at the moment it's not needed. Would Youtube studio would be good?
Edit: thanks for the suggestion guys
the only one I found thus far is openshot, but I don't really like it. looking for better alternatives that fits the description in the title. I use windows 10 if that is relevant. other people made similar posts, but those don't mention some of the things I want, so I made this.
from what I found, videopad and filmora is complete junk in this regard.
UPDATE: I tried out Kdenlive and I am actually pretty content with it and it checks off all the boxes I have for wanting one. so if anyone wants to try it, feel free.
I need a free video editing software for windows where I can merge and cut videos, I've tried so many but they all have watermarks, I am posting the videos to YouTube so I can't have a huge watermark on a video. Any suggestions would be great.
