Looking into doing a new channel that is purely anonymous so I want to find a free voice changer that I can use so my voice doesn't give me away. I don't want the voice to be anything too AI sounding or famous people. Just something that I could use for masculine and feminine voices.
Are there any real time voice changers where I can just speak into my phone and it'll output it in a different voice? Not exactly for a cosplay, but I think that's the best example. I know it's a bit hard because of the feedback or background noises but it's not impossible. I'm just wondering if there's an android app for it.

I’m making a movie trailer with AI tools and one part I’m having trouble with is making the dialogue sound realistic. ElevenLabs voices are pretty good, but they all definitely sound “AI” in their delivery.
Ideally what I’d like to do is record the lines myself (with certain tonalities and inflections on certain words), then change my voice into another voice. I know Runway has Act One which can map an AI voice but I don’t feel like it picks up little inflections very well.
Any other tools out there for this?
Just the title. Ive tried voicemod, but almost everything needs money, of which i dont have. I couldnt get clownfish to work, and i feel like voicemeeter is a bit complicated.
Any tried and true suggestions?
Are there any real time voice changers that let you tweak and play with your own voice to make it sound different instead of just picking from a preset voice catalog for streaming?
Hey guys! Been looking for a while and I can't believe how difficult this is to find: Do you have recommendations for an app that lets you use your phone as is (no extra mic) to change your voice in real time?
Hey guys. I'm new here and I'm looking for programs to modify my voice in real time. My experiences have been frustrating with these programs and I am open to recommendations. Here are some that I tested. Whether paid or free doesn't matter.
Voice Ai: I can't test because it uses 90% of my CPU and the entire PC crashes;
MorphVox: The robotic voice that remains bothers me;
iMy Phone Magic Mic: It was the best I tested, but there was a delay in the voice;
VoiceMod: I didn't like the voices that I test every day and there are flaws. Furthermore, people say that I am very expressive in my speeches and these voices make me very generic;
Okada: I couldn't get it to work;
Hitpaw: It is very similar to the Magic Mic;
Still testing other modifiers...
My main purpose is just to use it with my friends or something. Streams, videos or anything else is the 2nd option.
Is there any free voice changer out there? all i ever seen need a paid subscription to actually make it useful
I'm currently playing a Warforged character and have been trying to find a voice changer to make myself sound more like a robot for RP purposes, but sadly to no avail so far.Therefore i have come to you awesome people to ask for advice, in the hopes that one of you would have a solution to my predicament! :)
I realize this makes it a little more difficult, but i have a some requirements/restrictions as to what i am looking for:
- It has to be able to change my voice in real-time with very little to no delay at all
.- It needs to not sound static when talking.
- It has to be usable without a headset.
- It has to not make me sound like anyone specific, like the masks of Kylo Ren or Darth Vader.
- It must be able to do a male robot voice.
- It has to be at least somewhat affordable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even though it might not be easy :P
Edit: We do not play online, so if your suggestions involve a program/app/software which need anything more than a single phone(mine), then i'm afraid i cannot use it for this. It needs to be usable in person where only i have to use anything for it. Sorry for the trouble.
is their any real time voice changer in android?
Hi, I am posting this because I have tried Google, the app store, searched for an hour and found nothing. Ten years ago I had a voice mod app that let me make my voice higher or lower pitch, and play that to the headphones in real time. I am trying to find one again, and... nothing. One "AI CELEB PRANK VOICE CHANGER" app after another, and they are all identical- they record your voice and give you something you can download. Just dozens of identical apps that don't do what I want. I've seen a few that claim to be able to do it live, if I subscribe. I have no way of knowing if they actually do that, but since they don't let you try them without a subscription, I'm guessing no. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Are the days of free apps that do really simple things over?
Hey, I'm going to try to DM for the first time after months of playing in a few campaigns. I know it's best to roleplay as naturally as possible, but I feel a bit silly trying to deepen my voice to play male characters. I don't want to give every male character the same fake, gravelly voice, but at the same time I think it would probably be detrimental to the roleplaying for the male characters to have a higher-pitched voice.
One time my boyfriend and I were using a voice changer for fun, and it was really awesome and believable! You could make presets to easily switch between "characters." Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the program and so, here I am! Thanks in advance!
Does anyone have a recommendation for a voice changer? I'm doing a bit and want to sound like a really deep voice guy so I guess a gender switch one.
Is there a voice changer that has live text translation and is recommended?
I am a new youtuber and I create videos for self improvement. I want to make my voice sound wise and deep in order to motivate my viewers. I have tried using various text to speech softwares but with it we cannot control voice modulation and hence the storytelling gets affected and at points it sounds robotic. I have tried using pitch shifter in premiere pro to make my own voice sound deeper as seen in multiple tutorials but I found that it affects the sound quality. Could someone point out some good options ?
Im having an upcoming campaign, and I want to use a filter for my characters voice to give him a bit of a reverb, but the problem is this campaign is happening in person and I can't find any good real time voice changers. I was recommended voicemod, but I couldn't access the voice I wanted without pro version, and the filters didn't work just using my phones output mic? Any recommendations?
Hi! I'm thinking about streaming on Twitch sometime, but I don't want my voice to be out there right now as is. I am non-binary and I want to present as such on Stream, but I don't want to pay for something like Voicemod, or get an AI Voice Changer that will mod over someone else's voice onto mine. I want my voice, I only want to edit it a bit to be more gender neutral. Is there anything like this that can help and won't sound like a super obvious Voice Changer?
I've tried seemingly all the big voice changers and they just aren't good. They sound robotic or they don't run on my computer because my GPU isn't that great.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Are there simple NOT AI real time voice changers just need to make it depeer?
The most important thing about this overview is that you are never caught or questioned about how you sound in-game, in essence, 99.9% passing. I will go more into depth to make sure you NEVER get caught or question is a bigger guide, for now I'm only introducing this technology.
Before we start, let's go with Requirements, if you don't meet these, unfortunately, don't bother:
1.- Gaming PC with a 1070 or higher. 2.- Studio/streaming level microphone.
There's currently only 2 available voice changers and another 1 in closed alpha
1.- Voice.ai (Free) https://voice.ai/r/GsWMc (yes it is my link but it gives me points for more voices, not money or anything like that)
2.- NyVox ($10 a month): https://www.patreon.com/NyVox/
3.- Metavoice (close alpha): https://themetavoice.xyz/
Starting with Voice.ai, currently the most powerful one, it has a higher latency than NyVox and a variable latency (depending on your setup and load) but it is for a good reason, it prioritizes quality because when PC resources are maxes in NyVox the voice sounds like TTS and guess what happens next, you get caught. NyVox by itself is not that recommended by me anyway but that will be something to elaborate further down.
Here is an example of the power of Voice.ai in this regards: https://streamable.com/2ujhdg (all those voices are made By Selystria, she is a mod in the voice.ai discord)
Nevertheless, many of us are still not satisfied with the output, of the problems: It's too clear and too clean, doesn't sound like somebody speaking into a mic, some of the folk in that discord have come up with a solution which is called a "bad mic filter", you can check instruction to use said filter in setup and troubleshooting channel of that discord. Another way was to simply go to the VB cable settings and set the setting down towards (telephone quality) however that is no longer possible with their new audio driver.
Next is NyVox, I credit it as being the first actual Voice AI changer that is accesible to anybody, however it's model is now outdated and has really poor pitch tracking, one of the things it does best in my opinion was spanish (for some reason that the developelor could himself figure out).
So far it was only partially passable, too many players called me out while using it. Never use VRChat as a benchmark, people there are too nice and will not go out of their way to "call out" anybody for anything, I've used far harsher environment with the most toxic communities I could get my hands on: Tactical shooters.
Example of NyVox (spanish and english): https://vocaroo.com/1gbxMaFR6ELz
Finally, there's metavoice, as an alphatester, all I can say is it's too weak to even recommend trying it, their next model seems promising, but until then they only get an honorable mention. They also prioritize latency which causes some issues that will require a whole new post to explain why that is.
In summary:
Voice.ai: 95%+ passing, reaching closer to 99% passing with bad mic filter enabled.
NyVox: 70%-80% passing with the right voice
Metavoice current model: 30% passing and down to 10% if you are playing a game (because it prioritizes latency just like NyVox it will degare into TTS-level speech or worse)
How to maintain each software running at near 100% performance is a post for another time (will require a secondary gaming PC), but for those enthusiastic enough about this technology, it won't be an obstacle.
