How to Chamge The Colour of Freeform Gradient
The freeform gradient works between lines you draw, so draw the lines in the colours you want. Make sure to do it without anti-aliasing on - it won't work otherwise.

I believe you're doing it on the wrong layer. You did the gradient on the middle layer, but your mask is on the top layer. The middle layer is just a reference layer > when you do the gradient on the mask layer, it will refer to the colors from the middle layer). I might be wrong, but I think that's what's happening. So I watching this Video from 5 years ago, where the instructor was using Contour Line pain tool. I Tabed back to CSP, but i didn't find that in the left tool bar. Wondering if its hidden somewhere else?

Yeah, it does. It's grouped with Gradient. So click on the gradient in the left toolbar and at the top of the Sub tool window, you'll find contour line paint in the second tab.

Hello, I have watched the freeflow gradient video on the CSP channel, but when I try to apply it, well, just look at the second picture.

I believe you're doing it on the wrong layer. You did the gradient on the middle layer, but your mask is on the top layer. The middle layer is just a reference layer > when you do the gradient on the mask layer, it will refer to the colors from the middle layer). I might be wrong, but I think that's what's happening. Hope this helps

i think you have to make the line layer and the paint layer both as reference layers.
