Canon R5/R6 vs X-T4
Should I invest in X t4 instead of canon 5D?

So i been using fuji X T2 for few years now. I absolutely love this camera and its size. But for the past few months i am planning to invest in second camera. Although i love fuji but the lack of ibis and the diverse range of lens has always been my issue. I am mostly a still photographer and want to move to video. And canon 5d mark iv /v( if they release it soon) was on my wish-list. I love the canon colour and the variety of lens it provide.
But now with the announcement of X T4 i am really confused. Since x t4 is much cheaper then canon 5 d and i can use of fuji lens to x t4 as well. And it seem like a good video camera.
Please help me decide.
I am starting a videography career and I would like your opinion of the best camera set (Camera + Lenses at least) to achieve the best results for low budget commercials (ads) and social media content (mainly interview, product unboxing or short movies). My budget is preferably around Preferably around $2000. Please give me any and all advice you have in regards to the best equipment that is affordable but professional.
I am not a professional photographer, I consider myself more of a hobbyist, although I have done some portrait work, I mainly take landscapes and portraits.
I previously had a Canon M50 and I really liked its size, weight and versatility but not its image quality. I bought a second-hand EOS R+RF24-105 f4 and an RF100-400 f/5.6-8. I love the image quality and colors in landscapes, but not so much in skin.
But I got to a point where the weight of all the equipment has caused me to not want to take photos.
So, TL;DR... I'm thinking about switching to Fujifilm because of its size, weight and versatility, any advice, lens recommendations (Fuji or 3rd party) for street, landscape and portrait has a hobby, or just any comments? :)
I’m not a professional yet but would like to get into more professional work eventually. I love environmental portraits, documentary style portraits, landscape, food and will probably do a couple events when I have the chance. So i’m looking for the overall best option. I know the xt5 has more mp and ibs but the r8 is a full frame and i’m not sure how much that make a difference. If the price is not the main issue, which one should I go for? Sorry I know i’m not really specific and it may be an annoying broad “which one is better for everything” type of question
Hello,
after neglecting my beloved hobby in the last few years/unpacking my cameras far too seldom, the fascination grabbed me again.
After some market research, I came across camera models that caught my attention: the Fujifilm X-T5 and the EOS R8.
I know that these are two very different cameras, and to top it all off, I'm interested in what makes each camera better than the other.
Had an X-T4 in my hands two weeks ago and fell in love with it immediately. Look and feel or how it feels to handle this camera...sensational. If only I hadn't come across the EOS R8 just a few days ago, with its great sensor and this great AF system (I often photograph dogs and horses, but I'm used to working with focus traps and manual tracking from my old cameras, instead of on set modern tracking). These two things and the fact that I have been traveling with an EOS 7D and an EOS 5D Mark II so far and therefore own a few EF(S) lenses, some of which I could continue to use via an adapter, would speak strongly in favor of the EOS R8 .
My head tells me EOS R8 but my gut leans towards the X-T5. What would you do if you were me or would you use a completely different camera in the price range? (they should not be bigger than those two, because I don't want something as clunky as my old DSLRs ever again, in order to take the cam with me more often)
Thanks!
