English is not my first language so i'll try to explain it as best as i can.

As the title says, i'm a newbie in this photography/videography world.

In the recent months i've decided to deep dive and finally buy my first camera since i've worked for many years in audio/music production and i've always wanted to make these two things work together.

For example, i've worked a lot in making the sound effects or 'ambience sounds' for horror/thriller short films or main menu soundtracks for videogames and stuff like that.

Even though i'm mainly interested in videomaking, i gained a lot of interest in photography, which led me to an overwhelmingly confusion given the fact that there's a LOT to know before purchasing a camera.

If i had to break it down, my usage would be 40% photography 60% videomaking.

After some research i've came across the XT5 and the XH2S from Fuji, but many people told me that if i want to work with low light videos (like the horror short films i've mentioned before) or videos in general i should probably look into Sony since they also have a wider selection on lenses.

Also, i would use this camera for vlogs and photo/videos for when i go on vacation, and possibly streaming but that is not taking too much into consideration.

With that being said, i have a some questions:

1. Are the XT5 and XH2S overkill for someone that never picked up a camera in their life?

2. Is the gap between Fujifilm and Sony that wide in terms of videomaking in low light considering all the Denoise AI apps that are available today?

3. Should i invest my money in a more beginner friendly camera and use the rest of them to buy a lense instead?

4. Given the fact that i would also use this camera for travel videos/vlogs and possibly streaming, should i go in a completely different direction?

5. Would a full frame camera be a better choice for me than an APS-C sensor?

6. Is the lenses market really that 'closed' and more expensive compared to Sony?
