February 10, 2026 - I have used almost every Fujifilm camera as a professional documentary wedding photographer, and Family Photographer. And I’ve been using the Fujifilm X-T5 for around a year now. With its fusion of classic design and advanced technology, this camera stands out for wedding and street photography, in my opinion.

January 5, 2023 - The same is true of the X-T5. For an APS-C camera, the images are superb, and the 40-megapixel sensor in the X-T5 provides excellent detail. The high-resolution sensor comes with a tradeoff, though.

September 3, 2025 - A recent Fujifilm X-T5 favorite from Vancouver, BC. The images out of it are extremely flexible to work with in post, and I’ve been a big fan of the video coming out of this camera too. I love that a camera like this one exists for hybrid shooters like me who want to stay in the Fujifilm ecosystem. So while this review of the Fujifilm X-T5 might read a little like a rant, it’s meant to be constructive and I really am excited to see what Fuji has coming up in the future.

June 16, 2023 - The X-T5 has made a rather large jump all the way up to 40 megapixels, which matches the X-H2 that sits above it in the lineup. The X-T4’s 26-megapixel resolution wasn’t a slouch, but the 40-megapixel files are undeniably more satisfying.

January 31, 2026 - There seems to be a slight variation in the dynamic range between the X-T5 and the X-T4. Approximately half a stop. This is a nice improvement, although it is not a big one. This is the subject of another huge online debate. As an example, Fujifilm does not include the 10-24 in its list of lenses that can exploit the 40mp sensor to its full potential.

February 25, 2026 - I finally upgraded to the Fujifilm X-T5 after getting my hands on one through Fujifilm’s loan programme. Everything seemed right about this camera – improved resolution, in-body image stabilisation and a few tweaks in line with my preferences, all wrapped in a stylish body.

June 20, 2024 - I'm thinking of getting the x-t5 as my first fujifilm along side the 16-55 f2.8 as a first lens. Not had a mirrorless camera before but want one that can do photos and video to a good standard. I love the overall design of the x-t5 and the fact its compact.

March 6, 2025 - It may sound exaggerated at first, but that certainly replaces the ND filter here and there at open aperture. The X-T5’s mechanical shutter is very quiet, as with the X-T4. And the durability is now stated by Fujifilm at 500000 releases.
