Dimming comes from being able to alter the driver output. So you can get Bridgelux strips and a dimmable Inventronics or Meanwell driver from digikey or a similar electronics supply. Just be sure to read the LED literature to make sure you get the proper driver type, like constant current, constant voltage, or combo constants. More on reddit.com

Hey guys. I hope I'm allowed to post this here, as my post was previously removed from r/gardening and I have no idea why!
I've been looking for Dimmable LED Strips that have full spectrum wavelength for a hydroponics project that I'm working on, but have been unable to find them literally anywhere. Does anyone know about a seller of these who actually gives specifications and seems somewhat reputable?
I would even be fine with a tube light t5/t8 design, as long as it is dimmable, full spectrum, LED, and 360 degree lighting. The problem I've ran into is that the LEDs are either: dimmable and not full spectrum, non-dimmable and full spectrum, or they are both dimmable and full spectrum but aren't strips/tube light design.
Please let me know if you guys have an idea about who has them available!

Light strips are not used in manufacturing hydroponic lights (professionally that is). FS light are made from a combination of diodes (red, white and blue usually). Flecible strips usually carry a single diode type. Perhaps you could consider one of these: LED strips for general lighting ( high power / high diodes count per meter). Cold white will be fine. Several COB chips on a heatsink. Are you making a hydro tower? Anything other than that, I would look at quantum boards overhead.
