I don't really like calling them "C.AI alternatives" because of how hard the devs probably worked to make a site like that, how much money they probably spent. So I want to honor their work by not calling it an "alternative" and instead it's own things. It's honestly not that deep but it's how I feel on the matter.
Anyways, I'm curious to know what your favorite is, please try to not name more than two [preferably one], as I would like to see what the majority likes, and so others can to. Please include if it's free/has a message limit as that can be a deal breaker for some.

None, because I don’t want a company to own my data and I don’t want to be gamified, monetized, made to watch ads, or pay exorbitant subscription fees. I don’t want to be monitored nor censored and I don’t trust any of them. Just give me a generic language model and I’ll configure it to act like a chatbot. That way I don’t have to worry about what any company does in the future, and I’m in control of my own data and what I do with it. And it’s cheap (free for high-end video card owners) and capable of high quality conversation. I’m happy as can be. Screw all of them.
