I’ve been day trading stock for a while now, but i find it difficult to be consistently profitable. I’ve been investing a lot or resources into this already, so i’m considering switching to /es instead of quitting, as maybe it adapt better to my trading style/ mental attitude.
what would you say are the main differences between trading stock and es? Psychology, strategy, behaviour, knowledge, etc.
Thanks
Less tax paid trading futures vs stocks?
60% profit from Futures are taxed at long-term/capital gains tax (15%) and the other 40% is taxed at your income level.
So yes beats all of it being taxed at your income level.
It’s worth learning in futures imho because if you care about taxes then just learning on es or nq isn’t a bad idea.

If you can read price action, you can trade anything with a chart. There is no difference between options, equities, futures, forex, crypto. Other than some can be more volatile than others.

You'd be better off burning your money than trading Forex, at least it will heat your house. I personally day trade stocks and options.
If you have less than 30k to start with, futures are your friend.
If you have 30k or more I would say to go the stock route.
