Hey, Galaxy Buds fam,
Today I bought my Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and I was wondering what's the best charger to charge them with. I reached out to Samsung Support and I'm still shocked with their reply.
Then I decided to Google "laptop usb-b output wattage" and got this result:
I performed another search but this time with usb-c instead of usb-b and got this result:
I started wondering why these buds have a USB-C port and cable when they support just 2.5 watts of charging power.
What kind of charger do I need? 0.5A/5V = 2.5 Watts, correct?

You're overthinking things. Just use ANY wall wart charger. The Buds use USB C because it's becoming the standard and no-one much uses USB Micro, (the original USB cable connector), any more. I have a variety of chargers, (who doesn't), and I just use whichever is handy. A computer USB port will always be slow charge as it only puts out 0.5A whereas I sometimes use my 67w Xiaomi fast charger for my buds. The buds regulate the incoming charge to whatever they can handle. So use more rather than less and you'll get the best speed. But basically just use ANY available charge source.

August 31, 2023 - I think the buds should be charge with a 25W charger....!! That is no issue when you charge it with 15w 25w or higher than, The Galaxy Buds will not suffer any damage because its motherboard design is like this.

What is the recommend charger wattage for the galaxy buds plus? I'm currently using 18watts from my pocophone f1 stock charger (QC 3.0). Already checked Samsung's website as well as the bud's manual but there were no indications whatsoever for the recommended charging wattage.

They will only consume power the wattage they need from what you supply them with so don't worry about charging with a brick design for higher maximum wattages. As long as you charge them with a 5V current you're good

the case can only charge at a max of 600ma and the buds themselves charge at 160ma. you could litterally use a 5w charger or a 80w charger and it will be the same exact speed. or even plug them into your computer if it has usb 3. its all the same

All branded chargers with usb are ok , the buds only take the watts it needs from the charger, it cannot take more even if the charger is capable, so you don't have to worry about it.
