After 1.5 years of use, let's dive into the long-term review of the Buds 2. First, let's talk about sound. Its audio quality is commendable for a TWS, earning an 8/10 rating from me. It's not overly bassy, but I do utilize the Wavelet app to fine-tune it to my liking.
Regarding its software/hardware, I've been using a case to protect it, resulting in almost no scratches or wear. However, I do find that the latching mechanism could be stronger. On occasions when it falls from a small height, the buds tend to scatter.
One standout feature is its Find Buds function, which has come in handy more than once. However, there are occasional bugs to note. For instance, sometimes the case light remains off even after charging, but a gentle tap usually resolves this issue. Additionally, there's a Bluetooth bug on Android where it occasionally produces noise, but reconnecting usually fixes it.
Overall, considering the price point, it offers an average user experience.

I just care about the audio quality, and so far no really big audio reviewers have gotten their gbuds. Would really like to see what crinacle thinks considering how much he likes the other gbuds.
More on reddit.comSo I've had my Buds 2 for about 4-5 days and I can honestly say that these are my favorite pair of wireless earbuds by far. The best way I can describe them is having similar sound quality of the bros with the similar fit to the lives. Best of both worlds. How're y'all feeling about your 2's?

Who should get the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2?
Samsung smartphone owners can take full advantage of the Buds 2 and its software features. It’s also great for commuters as its ANC outperforms the Beats Studio Buds and pricier Apple AirPods Pro (1st generation). As far as wireless earbuds under $200 are concerned, the Galaxy Buds 2 is feature-packed. You can enjoy things like the auto-pause function, direct Spotify access (Android only), and excellent sound quality.
Who shouldn’t get the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2?
Those with significant nickel, acrylate sensitivities, or allergies will potentially be exposed to the materials via the earbuds — however unlikely. Some users have reported discomfort and reactions to recent Samsung earphones with these materials. Reportedly, Samsung has been investigating the matter and assisting customers who report troubles to them directly. However, the earphones in question aren’t the only ones with this exposure potential. If you’re sensitive to these materials, please be mindful of your return policy no matter what you buy.
