I have larger sized ears and I get the best fit when the buds live are inserted deeper into the ear canal. Very different from how Samsung showed we are supposed to use it. It looks like the one in their video where one of the microphone is blocked because it's in too deep. However, when I wear them like that, I get the best sound. It does not hurt my ears either. I guess because we all have different shape and size ears, some of us may need to wear it deeper. I seldom use my buds for calls so I don't really care if one mic is blocked. If I try to use them like how the video showed, I would get really horrible and thin sound (cause the speaker would be too far from the canal). Answer from Markomars on reddit.com

r/galaxybuds on Reddit: Proper way to wear Buds Live?
June 18, 2020 -

I am having trouble with the right "fit" from Buds Live. Anyone have any good videos showing how to properly put them on?

The official Samsung video got me all confused as the wrong way per the video is the only way they remain snug in my ears...

Thanks.

Make sure you are using the correct size wingtips for your ears, so you can comfortably listen to music. The Galaxy Buds Live come with small and large wingtips that can be swapped out whenever you need to adjust the fit. When inserting them, make sure the speakers are placed towards the bottom of your ears, so you get the best sound.

r/galaxybuds on Reddit: Galaxy Buds PRO don't fit me whatsoever. Any suggestions?
May 9, 2019 -

So I just got the new Galaxy Buds Pro, but they don't fit my ears at all. I've tried all sized tips that came in the box but no matter what size tips I use or how I put the buds in my ears, they fall out. To me it seems like they do not go into my ears far enough. Apparently my ears are very shallow so the buds cannot rest in my earlobes properly or with any support. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? Are there any third party tips that I can use that go further into my ear canal? Any answers are appreciated.

I use Galaxy Buds Live and alternate left and right sides throughout the day. I also keep my volume very low. Is that fine, or will there be problems in my ear? - Quora
Answer (1 of 3): This sounds fine. Listening low should equate to less than 75 decibels. Hearing damage occurs as a function of decibel and time. Not all damage is permanent You are doing the right thing to monitor your hearing Here are examples of sounds and their dB measurement.

July 26, 2024 -

I had a good experience with shipping of the buds but I cannot get them to stay in my ears. I didn't try them in store first (I probably should've) because I've been using airpods for years without any issue and thought it would be a similar fit. I did see someone on here suggest putting in tips to give it a better in ear fit, but has anyone even tried that and had luck with it? Am I wearing them wrong? I don't think I am but who knows.. I'm just placing them in my ears the way I do with airpods! They are falling out at the slightest head movement!

Anybody have the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro? How do they fit in your ear? | ResetEra
April 10, 2021 - I do, kind of annoying and it's unfortunately a common issue, I bought some foam ear tips hoping for a better fit and they ended up fitting worse than the silicone ones that came with them. They'd fit fine if it weren't for the bulge. That said, some times they're okay if I get the positioning just right but it always feels like they're going to come out and it's not hard to loosen them. ... To me, they're the best fitting buds I've ever used. I love them. They don't hurt my ears like others do either.
