I'm always having trouble getting the touchpad to respond when skipping tracks etc, but I will get accidentally taps when i try to adjust the buds. Does anyone know where exactly the sensor is? On the OG/+ buds, I can touch any part of the touchpad and it would be very responsive.
The touch controls drive me nuts. Whenever I try to adjust my buds I accidentaly skip an entire song. I've tried to use the "block touches" setting but it only works when the app is running on my device. It stops working whenever the app unloads from my device's memory. Also, I cant work out how to install the app on ios devices (such as ipad air 4).
Is there any way I can turn off the touch sensors on my buds without the app, permenantly?
Hello, I wasn't able to find anyone discussing this so I thought I'd make a thread. Has anyone else had issues where the buds live can't correctly detect the number of touches? I have about a 10% success rate in trying to skip tracks by touching either of my buds. I've tried slower tapping, faster, firmer and lighter touches, and it almost always registers 3 taps and goes back to the beginning of the song. Single tap for pause/play is a little more reliable but still often incorrect.
I ordered a second set of the buds with the intention to return the first ones if the second ones performed better, but they have the same problem. I'm wondering if this is something anatomic about how they are fitting in my ear? Maybe there's some skin touching somewhere and that's making the readings wrong? Anyway I just wanted to see if anybody else is experiencing this, as I otherwise love the headphones.
There was a post yesterday, You're probably just missing the mark. There's a practice tool in the wear app, you just need to hit the little dot
This has occurred to me a couple of times since I’ve gotten my pair, but the problem fixes itself once I restart my device and reconnect the buds.
