No, low, or poor audio quality on Samsung earbuds
If your Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds+, ... both buds, there may be a couple reasons why. You might be wearing the earbuds incorrectly, or the buds could have accumulated dust or debris....

Buds live aren't loud enough unless I max volume. Is this normal? Am I wearing them wrong? : r/galaxybuds
March 12, 2020 - Try disabling media volume sync in advanced bluetooth settings and then you can turn the buds up to max volume on their own and volume should be overall louder at lower percentages.

Ok ok ok ok ok. So I had this problem and freaked out. People kept telling me this bs solution about the Galaxy wearable app but it doesnt do sh!t. So hear me out please. · Please grab out 2-3 of those cotton swabs used to clean your ears. Grab your regular isopropyl Ahcohol and wet the tip. Clean the metal grill but face the earbud sidways so it doesnt leak into the earbud. When you're finished rubbing the metal grill with the swab clean it up real good with a towel (microfiber like the soft ones used for a car where you can buy at the dollar store) and let it dry for a few and boom, your sound is regained! · I guess its a matter of just cleaning them good once in a while. · This worked for me so im not sure how it goes for all of you. Keep in mind that if you're not cleaning your ears regularly, that'll happen. Remember to clean your ears and buds everyone. Hope this helps!! · S

The fix that I found is go into the earbud settings on the Galaxy wear app and go to labs. Experimental settings. There's a setting that says you could tap on the outside edge of the buds to change the volume of the earbuds independently and separately from the phone's volume.

Hey, I had the same issue. And literally, just minutes ago I pulled the bud apart. I just pulled with my fingers but that was risky I’m sure. A small knife or something thin like a pick girth might make more sense. · I don’t usually do my own repairs. But I have this face mixture I use for razer burn on my face. It’s like 95% rubbing alcohol. · I took a cotton ball doused it with the alcohol and lightly rubbed the inside of the buds. I used an air blower I have for my keyboard and made sure I didn’t leave any cotton inside. · The buds sound totally fine now. Saved me from having to send it to samsung and paying for them to just inspect it. Horrible Cx service. · Careful if you try it, but it worked for me. Hope it helps.

Galaxy Buds Are Quiet on One Side: 6 Possible Reasons and Fixes | Headphonesty
August 9, 2023 - The Audio Balance setting, a feature found in most devices, allows users to adjust the volume level between the left and right channels. This setting is particularly useful for those with hearing impairments in one ear, as it enables them to balance the audio output to their preference. That said, if the setting is inadvertently adjusted, it can cause one Galaxy Bud to sound quieter than the other. This issue is often reported as the left Galaxy Bud not working or Galaxy Buds having low volume in one ear.

I recently solved this same problem, unfortunately I had to open up my buds and clean out the filter and mesh. They sound good as new now and I was able to complete the process without damaging the meshes at all, but I had a broken First gen Galaxy Bud to practice on. You should definitely try other suggestion before resulting to this.

I know at one point there was a separate volume for the buds, which I'm assuming you've turned up. I'm no pro or sound engineer but I would try the following. Go into the Wearables app, go to Labs and turn on the Double Ear tap to raise or lower volume. Of course, try to raise the volume that way. You should get two beeps that are going upward in pitch. If you get two beeps that sound identical, it's at max volume. (You'll get two beeps going down in pitch when tapping the other bud to lower the volume) Also try having the buds in their case, go to your volume settings and make note of your Media volume. Then open your buds case; if it decreases, then you simply need to increase the volume to your desired loudness(?). If these do not work, it MAY be a hardware issue, but it's unlikely that both buds would be experiencing the same issue unless maybe they were both submerged in water or something 🤷🏾♂️ I had this issue months ago, and it was the volume on the buds being turned down despite the phone's volume being at max. So I'm hoping that turning up the volume on one of those will fix this for you. Also, and I don't really recommend doing this unless you feel safe (and especially not outside!!!), but you can turn off the Ambient Noise so that your buds basically act as earplugs. I guess this would be considered "noise cancelation" of outside sounds, which of course makes it easier for audio to be heard through the buds. But please, do not do this in public places. Even with one ear bud in, you have almost no sense of hearing on that side and something that should've been avoidable has now become unavoidable. Best of luck my friend.
