Rebooting it should fix the problem, but you will need to uninstall any apps that were installed before the issue occurred. If the watch is connected to a phone, you must clear the data for the Galaxy Wearable app.

January 8, 2024 - Fixed with time zone and location, untick all 3 from auto, set mine to south Korea and app worked. There an update in wearable app, little orange dot thing 175mb update.

January 5, 2024 - The second solution is to reinstall the app and reset your watch. This will erase your settings and data on your watch, so make sure you have a backup. To do this, reset your watch by going to Settings >> General Management >> Reset.

July 11, 2022 - The most recent update to the Galaxy Wearable app, Samsung’s companion app for devices such as the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Buds, and other wearables, seems to be causing problems for Watch 4 owners. App version 2.2.49.22062261 appears to be the culprit, triggering a thread on the Galaxy Watch subreddit with dozens of replies from users seeing the app not working, and the Galaxy Watch 4 Manager Plugin also crashing.

February 12, 2024 - Now the watch cannot be paired to the phone anymore because the Galaxy wear app is STILL crashing. I have advice for those reading the "solved" message boards with solutions provided by Samsung_Admins: DO NOT follow their instructions to the point that you reset your watch!!!!! All I had was a crashing app on my phone at first, and the watch was still functional. All I needed to do was just wait for the next app update and try to pair again. I would still have a wearable watch that would be functioning today.

January 5, 2024 - Interestingly, the problem seems focused solely on Galaxy Watches, with other wearables like Galaxy Buds 2 Pro apparently functioning normally within the app. Wear OS-powered Galaxy Watch 4, 5, and 6 models are all reportedly affected, experiencing disconnections and failing to re-establish connection with Pixel phones. September 14, 2024 - Enable "Turn on screen" to wake the watch display when receiving notifications. By following these steps, you should now be able to receive notifications from your phone on your Galaxy Watch. Remember to wear your watch for notifications to appear, as they may not show when the watch is not being worn.
