someone mentioned to me that almost two years ago a lot of people working in the company got fired because of the “pricematching” employees even myself got approved by the DM and SL to do this. But months later they backed down on the decision and fired a lot of people and made them pay certain amount of money. Moving forward until now, I did not know there was a public community sue to gamestop from the people that got fired because of this. Now I’m asking myself and heard from someone else that GameStop might do the same to fire a lot of people and use as an excuse the use of the save 25 when you spend 250. To be more specific when customers buy a ps5 since we need to scan the code so it can work. If anyone knows any of this please let me know
I saw someone here posting that stores that are going to be shirt down have 90% clearance tags. Does that mean that the whole store is on clearance? I guess new PS5 games are not going to have the 90% sale right? Will there be a price difference between those stores and the website (if I’m doing shop my store option- instead of going to the stores and see what they have I prefer to know it beforehand and just order it online)? And is the website updated with the games that the stores have, or is it not being updated often?
