Are gaming chairs with no wheels good for the back?
Which gaming chair with no wheels is best for big guys?
Can console gamers use gaming chairs that don't have wheels?
Like many, sound has and is the bane of my Youtube career, no matter how much I edit and do, I always have sound issues from white noise, to chair squeeking, to breathing and I have spent this christmas buying all the necessary upgrades and stuff but I need advice on a good silent gaming chair!
I want a gaming chair without wheels as I know that with time, the wheels always seem to go first, from hair getting caught in it and them breaking. I also want to make sure that the gaming chair is silent and durable and will be worth the money!
Can you guys send me some good recommendations? Thank you!
I have recently inherited a gaming room (child unit is fleeing the nest which leaves me a nice big room to convert into my gaming room.)
It's 184" long by 124"
I typically sit seven for our Dungeons and Dragons game but up to 8 for game night. I got a 120" x 42" conference room table for an absolute steal so now all I need to do is put the chairs around it.
Thoughts? Opinions? As a player what do you like or hate about chairs?
I hope this is okay for the sub. It's not a "board game" but it's board game adjacent...ish...
Edit:
Was 100% going to go with the church chairs recommended but the group all wanted wheels and loved the idea of the gaming chairs. https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/inbox-zero-lajace-high-back-mesh-ergonomic-office-task-chair-with-adjustable-headrest-armrest-lumbar-support-w100417306.html?piid=46399399 They also like that the chairs recline back.
We are playing TTRPG so this seems to work well. They like arms and wheels. The space is exactly big enough to give each person a 3'x3' block of room to roll and move. You can get up and leave without causing too much trouble for the other players.
https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/loon-peak-kamaury-extendable-dining-table-gnt26749.html (I got it on a really good sale). This is a far better table than it looks like. I was impressed. it's also really heavy.
It fits three chairs on each side and one at the end. After one game the group was quite pleased.
So many thanks to all of you and your information/feedback/thoughts!
Again, weird ass question but I always seem to utterly destroy my desk chairs in entirely too short a time due to either fidgeting, or my generally bad luck with desk chairs in general. I'm looking for a solid chair that is good to sit on at a desk and game.
Thanks.
Edit: normally I'd just go to fucking store and sit in the damn things but my car is in the shop for three months and my city is a sprawling nightmare so I can't do that.
