Best prebuilt gaming pc, Experts recommendation to buy - PCPartPicker
Why is a gaming desktop always better then a gaming laptop : computers
Built myself a desktop gaming computer, seller says I need to "upgrade" the motherboard, do I?
The thing is that you are about to buy a "k" variant processor which is built for overclocking and your motherboard does not support overclocking.
What's weird is that your seller recommends a different B560 board, but B-series boards are never built for overclocking, so you should either get a "Z"-series board so you can overclock your 11600k or you keep the previous motherboard and switch your cpu to a non-k version like the i5 11600.
Whatever your seller tried to tell you about the 'VRM cooling not being good enough' is a non-issue. What you should do is either get a Z-motherboard for overclocking or switch your cpu out for a non-overclockable one.
Regarding monitors:
144+Hz is great, but if you don't play competitive online games you're probably not gonna need it for now.
I have to say though that ever since I switched over to 144hz, I could never go back to 60.
I need a gaming PC, what and how should i do/buy one?
resolution? fps? purpose?
