Which Costco gaming laptop should I buy?
Thinking about buying a gaming laptop at Costco before vacation… then returning it. Is this okay?

Hello, hello! My old (personal/university) MacBook broke down, so I’ve decided to finally swap to a PC and get my first gaming computer. I intend to buy a laptop from Costco (mostly for the extended warranty/return policy), but I’m a bit stumped on which one to go with. If anyone has any advice they could give me, it would be greatly appreciated OTZ
If it helps at all, the features that matter to me in most are the computer’s thermal performance, non-battery gaming life, and discrete appearance (as I’d like this computer to function both as a gaming PC and a non-distracting work computer).
I’d also like a good display, but my definition of “good” may be relatively lower/skewed, because I’m used to non-gaming computers.
And although it’d be nice, I’m not sure if I’d need something that can run games with a very high FPS? I’d like to be able to play Baldur’s Gate 3, WolfQuest, and Pathologic 2 at decent frame rate with high graphics on it, but I’ll probably play v undemanding things or older games on it most of the time.
Here are the laptops I’ve been mulling over (one, two, three), but there’s some more here that I’m not sure about yet (I’m open to checking any of them out, sans the $2999 one).
