My Gap Card (and all Gap Inc cards— Old Navy, Banana Republic, Gap and Athleta) are due to transition from a Synchrony Visa card to a Barclays Mastercard card in the next 2 months. I’ve never gone through this— so I’m curious how this change will look on my credit report? Will there be a new trade line? Are there any other changes to keep an eye out for?

I just found a very strange $2 minimum charge on my Gap Barclay card. I called and they said it's an interest. BUT I always paid in full on time. They said they would remove it. Hope so.
I found there is another post also asking about this 6 months ago, but the poster turned off the comments.
So I just want to let everyone know it's still going on so please look out.

I just noticed this today too! I'm going to close this card! They have too many weird policies. I just called last month because they cancelled my autopay and then charged me a late fee for nonpayment. I asked what happened to my autopay and they said you have to use the card every 90 days or the autopay turns off. What in the world?!?! Bye Barclays!

I've been keeping track of this card thru my old Navy app, and they show balance of 0$ but Barclays keeps calling and emailing me so I looked on my credit karma app and they've been charging me $2 for "minimum charge" and then two months in a row charging a 30$ late fee. Now I owe 60$+ and I haven't even shopped at old Navy, as mines an old Navy card, since May. It's one thing if they've been charging me this whole time and I knew about it, I could've paid the 2$. But not letting me know there's a new charge and then filling a late fee is slimy.
