Yes, last month I believe, it’s in this sub but a guy built full storage out of 4-8 blue USG cabinets that he took the wheels off and made wooden bases for. It came out EXTREMELY well done, he did it on sale and paid like $2400??? (Iirc) If I have it saved I’ll link it in here but I don’t believe I saved it. Take a look, this kinda makes us need a USG/ICON (or TOOLBOX) flare. More on reddit.com

Here's a link to all the options that HF originally offered. The wall cabinets and short cabinets on casters and the work surface for those short cabinets have all vanished from the catalog. Also, some reviews claim they come with 5 shelves, others claim they come with 4 shelves. Anyone know the truth? (Maybe it's 4 adjustable shelves plus the bottom?) My local HF can order them, but they know nothing about them. More on reddit.com

Have these been discontinued? Are they as good as they look?
Five years ago HF released a bunch of Yukon Garage Cabinets, but most are no longer listed for sale. Only the 30" and 48" full height are still available. They look (from the specs) like they're a lot stronger than equivalent Husky/Kobalt/Gladiator cabinets. Those other brands all need one fixed shelf in the middle for stability purposes and all their shelves have a max weight rating of 50lbs each.
All the Yukon shelves are fully adjustable and the specs claim they can hold 90lbs each. That's a heck of a difference.
I need two 48" cabinets and am trying to decide Gladiator or Yukon. The Yukon sure sound better, but if the line is dying I might want to stick with a brand that'll still be around in a few years. Thoughts?

The other cabinets have been discontinued with the exception of the 30" and 48". Those happened to be some of the few we did sell when all options were still available at my store at least. With that said, it does seem like they are planning on reworking the cabinet line. I have seen some new SKUs of products in the Yukon line that I haven't recognized because they fall in a line of new SKU numbers the stores don't normally use. Not having a display of any of the Yukon cabinets in most stores except for some test stores is probably why they didn't do well. Hopefully in the future HFT will find some floor space for at least 1 example of the line so customers can see what the quality is. Lost tons of sales to that over the years.
