I just got my GCASH account verified and attempted to do a cash in. I requested a transfer with a UK banking partner HSBC, selected the amount and authorised it through the banking app. I was presented with a black screen with an error, which I was unable to screenshot. My account says the transaction was completed and it was deducted from my account.
I waited a day for the transfer to see if it would still arrive and nothing, so opened a ticket with GCASH. I provided details and they responded they are actively working on my request and will get back to me soon.
Since then I have have requested an update for the last 3 days and nothing, until today. The message we are checking to see if you have any additional concerns related to your ticket. I find that weird, as they haven't provided any updates and my money is not available, so YES, I still have concerns.
What I have noticed is :
my original message is no longer visible when I attempt to scroll to the top.
none of the the messages are time/date stamped. The chat just shows when the ticket was last updated, ie last message.
Has anyone experienced this before and is able to provide advice on how to escalate or is GCASH a scam and I'll not see this money again?

I would not a panic just yet, if you sent this on Thursday or Friday there is a good chance that it will arrive tomorrow or Tuesday. Gcash is a nightmare to deal with, i recently put a post on this forum about my problems with them. I am also with HSBC and i have no issues using my debit or credit card at my local ATM, that might be a better option for you in the future if you need get money from HSBC. ₱20K daily limit though. That could be just the Metro Bank ATM policy for foreign cards, plus a fee of ₱150 I think it was. If you have not received it by Tuesday i would contact HSBC and explain the situation maybe they will be able to reverse your transfer. Good luck.

Don’t try to make a card purchase with this fintech because it’s not a bank and can’t be trusted with this transaction you done specifically in big amount , their CS response is damn and irresponsible also GCash’s reputation is very GTRASH. Hi guys, has anyone faced this issue of losing their money after transferring their money from their bank account into their Gcash account and then closing the app when the money is shown in the app? My gf had this happen to her when she moved her money from Tyme to Gcash, it showed the amount transferred on Gcash, but after opening the app again it's all gone.
I've also heard that Gcash support is basically nonexistant, so should she contact Tyme bank about this issue?
