Having a major issue and Geek Squad everywhere says "24/7 customer service agents avaliable". The chat bot says its closed and the 1800 number just says "no one is available to take your call". Why are they lying? It's clearly not 24/7. 😒

We just bought a new LG TV from BestBuy and had Geek Squad come out to install. All went well. Now, I need to reach them for more guidance. Problem is, I lost the guy's business card. So I called BestBuy, they said they would have the guy call me and I never heard back. I'm sort of miffed because we paid for the install and part of the deal was, call if you have any problems. But calling BestBuy is the same as calling into the void. Any suggestions?
Those outsourced folks are getting worse with what they are advising our clients and it is nearly rivaling Apple with the amount of misinformation given. Examples are of today and not super bad, I just am too tired to remember the worse ones.

Clients told us that the call center told them it was cool to just show up without an appointment. We are short staffed with agents still in training.

Clients advised to bring in their monitor, keyboard and mouse with their desktop to their appointments.

Clients encouraged to bring multiple devices because we can of course diagnose and checkin multiple devices in 20 minutes.
And finally, a few days ago, the call center folks told the clients we can transfer data from one iOS device to another (without iCloud) during a 20 minute consultation.

Has Geek Squad changed much since it has been rebranded to Total Tech Support?

My impression of the phone service is to almost never refer to a store for in-person support. They say, "Thank you Mr. Bob, I understand why this would frustrate you Mr. Bob." Then they clean the system or something and it doesn't fix the problem. When you point out the problem you're having is still present, they just say, well, we can't fix that. What is the point?
