Hi everyone,
Iโm currently in my third semester at a tier 3 college. I came across the Complete Machine Learning & Data Science Program by GeeksforGeeks and was wondering if anyone here has taken it. Is it worth the investment, especially for someone looking to build a solid foundation and land a good job right out of college?
I would appreciate some guidance on how to effectively learn programming and work on projects that would help me stand out. I know basic Python (which I learned in school but havenโt practiced much) and C programming (which Iโm currently studying in college).
Also looking for advice on:
-
Programming skills in demand: Which programming languages and technologies should I focus on to stay relevant and competitive?
-
Learning platforms with certificates: Any good platforms youโd recommend for learning programming with certifications that hold weight in the industry?
-
Projects and resources: What types of projects should I work on to build a strong portfolio? Any resources youโd suggest for a beginner?
-
Networking and mentorship: How can I connect with experienced professionals or like-minded peers? Iโm the first in my family pursuing something like this, so I donโt have anyone to guide me. Any tips on finding mentors or communities that could help?
Please donโt ignore this post. I know there might be a lot of similar posts I could look up, but any suggestion is appreciated. Please guide me with the most relevant advice in todayโs context.
Money shouldnโt be an issue, but whatever it should be worth it. Iโm determined to make the most out of my college years. Any advice, resources, or personal experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
the course costs 15k but it's from a trusted company and their also giving IBM certificate should I buy it or not?
I'm a current high schooler and I've been doing competitive programming for a while so I know the basics of Python and C++ but I want to get into data analytics.
I saw that GeeksforGeeks had a data analytics as well as competitive coding courses, but I was wondering how good they were. Are they really worth $200?
