It was in a sealed apple box but I know that means nothing. It attaches to the magnet on the side of the iPad fine and does the animation but it never asked me to pair or setup or anything. I checked in Bluetooth and there is an I-pencil sitting there - this is when red flags started waving for me. Anyway, the pencil doesn’t work, it worked for writing but I had to press hard and use perfectly vertical. No haptic feedback when taping or would it switch to eraser in GoodNotes, no scroll or swipe like a finger on a web page or Home Screen. It doesn’t feel very apple for all these things to not be working. Unless I was sold a dud, I think I’ve been had here?
