My wife and I are moving to Germany in 3 months. Once there, my children will attend daycare, where I'm sure they will be able to pick up the language starting from scratch. Given we have some time before we leave, I would love for my kids (particularly the 4-year old) to get a head start with simple vocab (animals, vehicles, counting etc). Obviously I could just make some flash cards but I don't want to teach them incorrect pronunciation, so was hoping to find an app for young children where they are presented with an image and the audio of the German word for the image. Then it would be similarly to Duolingo, that they would be presented with 4 images and asked to click on the image that matches the audio provided (the app says Katze and you have to select the image of the cat).
Does anyone know if such an app exists? It's basically just Duolingo for young children. Better if it's free but I don't mind paying.

I'm currently learning German but I don't know what apps I should use. I keep seeing mixed opinions for every app. If you've learnt German through an app, what are your recommendations?
I just graduated high school with a B1 in German. But after school I wont really have any contact with it anymore. Throughout my experience I noticed that I have like very specific holes like colloquial words or a very specific subject and I freeze and can’t really talk about it. I’d love to know if there’s an app or something online that helps me keep practicing everything but mostly my oral and hearing skills. If everyone knows, I’d love to hear it!
