So my sister-in-law sent us a bunch of stuff for the holidays, and I returned it promptly. It wasn’t the right size. It was four items totaling about a little over $100. I returned them and they received them the very next day. And that’s when my nightmare began. I spoke to at least five or six different people, and all promised different things, and everyone was wrong except for the last rap I spoke to who told me that I’m never going to receive the money because “this account has to be authenticated by the original purchaser,” her words. I am not gonna get on the phone and tell my sister-in-law that I returned the entire order and to check to see if she received a refund, which is what basically Amazon asked me to do. I did receive a separate order for another item. My sister-in-law sent which I also sent back and did receive a gift card return for a little over $50.
I’ve decided to cancel my Amazon prime, and I’m never going back. They have gone down the tubes and their reps. Just don’t care and lie and lie and lie. I get a different answer every single time I speak to someone. It’s just not worth the aggravation. Buyer be warned.
