Hello, I recently upgraded to a R5 3600 and got this B450 along with it. I wanted to see if my ram is running at 3600 but have not been able to access my BIOS. I mash the delete button continuously(my keyboard is lit up at this time) and the menu quickly flashes and my computer continues on to windows.

My b450 came “ryzen third gen ready “.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I built a system using a Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard.

Loaded windows 10 onto it.

At first everything worked fine but Win 10 did a few blue screens. Some research suggested that the Gigabyte utilities were causing the issue. I uninstalled the utils but this did not stop the problem. After more blue screens and research I started getting page fault error consistantly.

Up to this point I had a single stick og 8 gb memory because of money issues (i know dual would have been better but money was an issue).

The windows memory test routines would not work. So I tried to get mem test onto a thumb drive and boot off that. Computer wouldn't boot off the thumb. I tried to access the bios to force the boot and I have not been able to access the bios. I have tried every F key, escape, delete. None worked. A few time I got a black screen and that was it.

I decided to try putting in a matched set of 8gb memory to replace the single stick. The computer would not boot. The computer will only boot when a single stick is in place. Probably a bios setting.

How do I gain access to the bios?
