64GB of RAM in 2 sticks if you want XMP, same for 128GB - Micron has new chips that can be used to build 2x64 kitts
4x DDR5 DIMMs at XMP is rather problematic on this gen, might work at 4800MT/s
PS: you'll most likely need a BIOS update for 14th gen support, use QFlash+

Hello,
I couldn't find information about the D board VRM, only the UD has reviews and I'm not good at reading the specs of the VRM.
I'm building a 12600k and maybe upgrade later to a 14700k if intel did something about the oxidation and other problems,
If I end up getting a 14700k later, I'll undervolt it for sure.

The D AC is a newer board that natively supports 5600mhz DDR5 Ram, the UD AC is older but more popular, the D AC also only has (4) Sata Ports instead of the 6 on the UD AC. I went with the Newer Z790 D AC as I wanted the newer board with 5600mhz ram. I am probably the only person that went with this board since it has no reviews or interest. The Heatsinks on it are a tad more weaker than some of the other offerings as well. The board works for me and what I need.
