Been trying to install Github CLI and I come across these error messages when inputting the commands meant to install Github CLI. Been following these directions: https://github.com/cli/cli#installation. I used the homebrew command because thats what I remember installing first before I installed Git. The command is brew install gh.
This is the error message:
Giankarlo-Sverko-2:~ giankarlosverko$ brew install gh
fatal: Could not resolve HEAD to a revision
Warning: No available formula with the name "gh".
==> Searching for similarly named formulae...
Error: No similarly named formulae found.
It was migrated from github/gh to homebrew/core.
Then I tried this command because I saw someone else do it on youtube for the mac (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm9gdHd9qmE). the command is brew install github/gh/gh
Here is THAT error message:
Giankarlo-Sverko-2:~ giankarlosverko$ brew install github/gh/gh
Warning: Use gh instead of deprecated github/gh/gh
Warning: Use gh instead of deprecated github/gh/gh
Warning: No available formula or cask with the name "github/gh/gh".

Error: No similarly named formulae found.

I'm probably missing something really basic. For context, I'm using the basic mac terminal. Maybe I'm using the wrong program? The guy in the video has a black background on his command line with colored text. Mine just looks like a .txt file.
Please help me! Doing this for an assignment and I cant find help anywhere.
Thank you!
