How long on average does it take for a ticket on support to get a reply

It’s all anecdotal as GitHub don’t appear to publish such stats. So just going by people who have posted in the sub about this an average appears to be around 1-2 months. It depends on things like the plan you are on and the reason for the ticket. More on reddit.com

The one thing that finally ended up working was me opening a ticket through the mobile app, for some reason. Even after opening tickets about GitHub Enterprise, using their actual support system, and numerous email attempts.

So, if you run into this same issue, go to the GitHub Mobile app, and under settings, click "Get Help" and fill out a ticket there as well.

Education questions should be raised in the discussion forum so you should probably re-ask in there as you’re just waiting for a support person to tell you that anyway. The education team work in the community discussions, not tickets. Good luck with your application.

Hi everyone, I’m currently in 12th grade and trying to apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack. However, I’m getting this error: “We require applicants to use a school-issued email address to apply.” The problem is that my school does not provide student email addresses (no .edu / .ac.in emails). I only have my personal Gmail. I do have valid proof of enrollment (dated school ID and bonafide certificate), but the system won’t let me proceed without a school-issued email. Has anyone faced this situation before? Is there any workaround or official way to apply if your school doesn’t provide institutional email addresses? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
