Let's be very frank what's happening here. This is a directory where the themes at the top of the different lists have paid between $200-$500 to be placed where they are. I respect the hustle but you don't disclose that the "top" themes are all paid/placed so this is not a useful resource for people to use to find the "best" themes More on reddit.com

Advice changing my Jekyll theme, hosted at Github pages - No current posts. Should I just uninstall?

Wow, the 'menu' button thing is cool :p

Anyway, do you mean you never posted anything on your blog before? Did you just clone the theme and then not modify it at all? If so, your safe just to delete all that from the repo and replace it with the stuff from the new theme.

Just wanted to plug a new Jekyll directory that I built www.bestjekyllthemes.com - it has over 1200 open source Jekyll themes.

It sources themes automatically from Github when the repos are tagged with “jekyll theme” and some other variations.

After I source the themes I do a deep analysis and categorise the themes including by css framework, ghpages hosting and some other interesting attributes such as if the theme is gem based or a remote theme etc.

I hope it can be a useful resource for the community. [
